The Fulda based company JUMO has been awarded the AEO Certificate "Simplifications/Safety Under Customs Law (AEO F) by the Main Customs Office in Gießen to become an "Authorized Economic Operator". As such, JUMO is regarded as a particularly trustworthy and reliable supplier within the framework of the international merchandise trade.
The AEO F certification is the highest internationally recognized
hallmark of excellence that can be awarded by the customs authorities.

The World Customs Organization has defined global framework conditions in the "Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade" (SAFE) in order to achieve an effective and modern risk management within international customs clearance. This ensures that the international supply chain is consistently secured from the manufacturer of goods through to the final user.
In the medium term, the AEO certificate will be indispensable for all global players for proving a safe supply chain in cross-border trade. The status of the Authorized Economic Operator is valid in all EU member states without a time period limitation.
